National Competitive Bidding (NCB)

FOR THE SUPPLY OF MILKING GOAT IN AFAR REGION

Tender Reference # - SCI-ET-2025-022

Save the Children International (SCI) invites qualified and experienced suppliers to submit sealed bids for the supply and delivery of 4,638 goats (3,865 female milking goats and 773 male goats) for its EU-funded AICS project implemented in Afar Region (Afambo, Chifra, and Telalak woredas). The goats to be supplied must meet the technical requirements specified in the Bidding document, including age, breed, and health standards which will be verified by woreda and regional livestock experts. The awarded supplier will be carried out the goat supply in four delivery phases (in the three woredas) as detailed in the TOR.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

- Valid business license related to livestock supply.

-Bid security of ETB 250,000 in the form of CPO or bank guarantee (valid for at least 3 months).

-Provent work experience in supplying milking goats in Afar Region; at least three (3) work certificates/letters issued by regional bureau of Livestock and Fish Resource Development and/or international NGOs confirming successful delivery of similar goat procurements. (SCI has the right to validate the certificates/letter with the issuing entities).

-The detailed criteria are included in the bid document. Thus, interested companies are invited to submit their proposal to provide service.

ACTIVITIES (2015-2025)

The Ethiopian Economics Association (EEA) invites qualified individual consultants or consulting firms to undertake a comprehensive impact assessment of the Association's activities over a decade.

Since its establishment in 1991, EEA has played a pivotal role in advancing economic research, policy dialogue, training, and knowledge dissemination in Ethiopia. To enhance its institutional effectiveness and strategic direction, EEA seeks to document and evaluate the impact, relevance, and contribution of its work in research, policy influence, capacity building, events, partnerships, and media engagement.

SCOPE OF WORK

The assessment will cover the period 2015-2024 and will:

- Document EEA's major activities and outputs;

- Evaluate the reach and influence of research, publications, and events;

- Assess the effectiveness of capacity-building programs and professional services;

- Measure EEA's contributions to policy and societal impact; and

- Identify strengths, gaps, and areas for institutional improvement.

Qualifications

Applicants should demonstrate: fines

- Proven experience in impact evaluation, institutional assessment, or research performance analysis;

- Strong academic background in economics, development studies, or public policy at 

- Proficiency in mixed-methods research (quantitative and qualitative);

- Experience in bibliometric and policy influence analysis and

- Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.

Experience working with research and policy institutions will be an added advantage.

DELIVERABLES

- Inception report and data collection tools;

- Draft impact assessment report:

- Validation workshop facilitation;

- Final report;

- Five-minute summary video.

4. ተጫራች ለንብረቱ የሚሰጠውን ዋጋ ከጨረታ ሰነዱ ላይ ባለው ክፍት ቦታ በመሙላት የጨረታ ማስከበሪያ እና ሌሎችም አስፈላጊ ሰነዶችን በፖስታ በማሸግ ቄራ ፊት ለፊት በሚገኘው የኢትዮጵያ ንግድ ባንክ ሕንፃ 2ኛ ፎቅ በተዘጋጀው የጨረታ ሰነድ ማስገቢያ ሳጥን ውስጥ ህዳር 03 ቀን 2018 ዓ.ም ከጠዋቱ 3:00 ሰዓት እስከ 4፡00 ሰዓት ብቻ ያስገባል::

6. ተጫራች ለሚጫረትበት ያገለገሉ ንብረቶች የመነሻ ዋጋውን 25% (ሃያ አምስት በመቶ) ወይም ለምድቡ የተጠቀሰውንየገንዘብ መጠን የጨረታ ማስከበሪያ ዋስትና (Bid Bond) ለኢትየጵያ ንግድ ባንክ ያገለገሉ ንብረቶች አስወጋጅ (Commercial Bank of Ethiopia Disposal) ሲ.ፒ.ኦ. ተዘጋጅቶ ማስያዝ ይኖርበታል::

7. ለጨረታ ማስከበሪያ የተያዘው ሲፒኦ አሸናፊ ለሚሆነው በሚገዛው ንብረት ክፍያ ላይ የሚታሰብ ሲሆን አሸናፊ ላልሆኑት ለጨረታ ማስከበሪያ ያስያዙት ሲፒኦ ተመላሽ ይደረግላቸዋል::

INVITATION TO BID

Procurement Number: ASDEPO/ITB/042/2025

Action for Social Development and Environmental Protection Organization (ASDEPO), in partnership with its donors, want to purchase Water equipment for the Strengthening the Nutrition Sensitivity of Social Protection in Ethiopia through School Feeding and Productive Safety Nets Programs in Afar Region, Oromia Region East Harerge and Boreng Zone. Hence, ASDEPO invites all interested & eligible bidders that are qualified, technically competent, and have a valid trade license for the current Ethiopian FY to participate in the bid.

Bid Requirement

1. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open tendering procedures contained in the Directives of the Organization and other Relevant Laws of the Country, and is open to all eligible bidders.

2. Bidders shall present a copy of the renewed Trade license, Certificate of registration, Tax Clearance certification, VAT Registration Certificate, and TIN Registration Certificate as part of the technical proposal.

3. The bid document submission must be accompanied by a Bid Bond Amount of 5% of the total amount in the form of an Unconditional Cashier's Payment Order (C.P.O).

4. Bidders should indicate whether the price includes or excludes VAT/ TOT.

5. Bid should be submitted in two separate sealed envelopes, Financial and Technical proposals, addressed to ASDEPO.

6. The envelopes should clearly indicate the Invitation to bid reference number Ref. "ASDEPO/ITB /042/ 2025"

7. Bid document must be deposited in the bid box prepared for this purpose at our Head Office, located in Lemikura sub city, woreda 8, around Figa traffic light at the back of Lion Bank Beshale branch, on or before October 31, 2025, 10:00 AM (morning)

8. Bid opening shall be held by October 31, 2025, 10:30 AM (morning) with the presence of bidders and/or their representatives who want to attend.

9. Winners shall deliver the items within a maximum of one week after the Award letter is received.

10. The delivery location of the items shall be transport at Afar Region. (Mille, Gewane and Chifra Woredas), Oromia Region East Harerge Zone (Babile and Chinaksen Woredas) and Borena Zone (Yabelo and Miyo Woredas).

11. The eligible bidders shall submit their Bid Quotation in the bid submission table presented below.

13. Failure to comply with any of the conditions stated above shall entail automatic rejection.
