INVITATION
TO OPEN BID
FOR THE
SUPPLY OF ELECTRIC VEHICLE
1. The Water and Land Resource
Center (WLRC) invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the
supply of Electric Vehicle - Double Cab Pickup as per the detailed specifications
provided in the bidding document.
2. Interested and eligible bidders
may purchase a complete set of the bidding document upon payment of a non- refundable
fee of ETB 500 (Five Hundred Birr) from the WLRC Procurement and Properties
Administration Unit, located at Lamberet, Addis Ababa, 1st Floor.
3. Bidders must submit valid and
renewed legal documents.
including: Trade License for the
year 2018 E.C. Business Registration Certificate Tax Identification Number
(TIN) VAT Registration Certificate
- Current Tax Clearance
Certificate
- Any other relevant supporting
documents
4. All bids must be accompanied
by a bid security (CPO or Unconditional Bank Guarantee only) amounting to 2% of
the total bid price, valid for at least 28 days beyond the bid validity period.
The bid security shall be submitted in a separate sealed envelope.
5. The bid documents must be
submitted in three separate sealed envelopes as follows:
- Envelope 1: Technical Offer
(clearly marked "TECHNICAL OFFER")
- Envelope 2: Financial Offer
(marked "FINANCIAL OFFER ORIGINAL")
- Envelope 3: Financial Offer
(marked "FINANCIAL OFFER COPY")
These envelopes, together with the
bid security envelope. shall be inserted into one outer envelope, properly
sealed, signed, and addressed to WLRC, and deposited into the bid box prepared
for this purpose.
6. Bidders must include detailed
item specifications in their technical submission.
7. The bid closing date shall be
February 23, 2025, at 2:00 PM, and the bids will be opened on the same day at
2:30 PM in the presence of bidders or their representatives at the WLRC
Conference Room, Addis Ababa. If the closing or opening date falls on a public holiday,
the process will be conducted on the next working day.
8. Bidders are strongly advised to
carefully read and comply with all instructions provided in the bidding
document.
9. Failure to comply with any of
the requirements listed from S/No. 2 to 8 shall result in automatic rejection
of the bid.
10. The Water and Land Resource
Center (WLRC) reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to
annul the bidding process at any time without thereby incurring any liability
to the bidders.
